Cross Choke from Mount
After all the buzz over Roger Gracie’s wins in the Mundial’s i have been taking in everyone’s tips on the Cross Collar Choke thread, and also watching Demian Maia’s Science of Jiu-Jitsu 2 (Attacking From the Mount).
So, I went in to class and started showing some of the stuff to one of my fellow blue belts and Daniel decided to have me teach it to everyone, hence why this video is taught by me and not Him.
So you will have to excuse the quality of the instruction on this one as I am only a blue belt.
Armbar From Cross Choke Defense (Mount)
In the armbar video, a better use of the free hand (the hand furthest away from the legs), would be to post on the face, to make stepping over the head easier.
